How do I know if my ignitor is bad?

I have been reading through some threads. Now I find sometimes my engine will shiver a bit at idle but not often. I have tried ngk wires, ngk plugs, coil packs, but not the ignitor yet. I did wash the car often and I am wondering how it would affect the ignitor? Engine starts fast and always starts. I do not know if this would relate to my engine performance, but like when its a bit cooler seems like the engine is much more powerful. I am starting to think maybe the turbo is flat out just more worn out, and pushes more hot air then usual, ill see how the IC handles things. Still just want to question the ignitor and its importance and relation to performance and idle. Thanks!

What do you think about the IAC? My idle is all over the place too when warm and i have yet to clean the IAC out. That may be a good place to start instead of the igniter. What makes you think igniter to begin with?

I read some stuff about ignitors lol. Tomorrow I will try removing the top part of the IAC, I think I can spin the shaft and just spray some intake cleaner at the same time. Without having to remove hte IAC itself. Going to try it tomorrow.
