How to replace Power steering pump?

Post by Suigintou »

I recently got a 94 Legacy and I need to replace the power steering pump. The pump is definitely bad. We put the car up on jacks and then the wheels turned easy, so its not the rack/pinion.

First, before I can do anything I need to get the pump off. Any advice/warnings/tips before I start would be appreciated.

Thanks!

The pump is pretty straight forward on removal. Take off the belt, remove the lines from the pump, and unbolt it.
