ok is there ANY difference between 93 and 94 ej22...

Post by jp233 »

...had the EJ22 out of my 93 for quite some time. It's been way too long, I got really far with it and have stalled out, so much else going on, always seems to be something of more importance that I "have to get done", or I'm just away from home. Yep, lots of excuses.

Anyways, now that the 94 is about to click over 160k, and it's a much better car to begin with, I am thinking about just plopping the 94 EJ22 right into the totally buggered 93 chassis/body (interior and exterior of this car are POS)..... and putting the fresh engine into the car that is much nicer.

Is there ANY difference between components, electrics, timing, etc from a 93 to 94 EJ22?? (other than the R134a vs. R12 a/c??)

OBTW I think my sig says it but the 93 is FWD and the 94 is AWD if it matters

Engine wise, no I don't believe there is any real difference.
