I've hooked into that loop in the rear of the engine -- sort of where the turbo intake pipe ends. Then screwed another bolt into the A/C brace/tower thing.

Definately get an engine leveler. That thing is great. It allowed me to drop my engine in with the transmission attached all by myself. I even left the shift linkage and shifter on which made the tranny even longer.

I have an engine leveler here, but to be honest I prefer to pull/install Subie motors without it. They're so light it's really easy to shift the motor on the chain. The problem with the leveler is that you have to jack the hoist that much higher up to get the engine out of the car. As posted above, I normally hook a chain to the loop near the turbo and pull it through the loop on the A/C bracket.

That said...if I was pulling the tranny at the same time, or pulling a V-8, the leveler is the only way to go.

I recommend an engine leveler. I've only used mine about 5 times, and I'm glad I bought it.

oh ya, definatly using the leveler. its as god sent when working with 4g63s because of the pass side mount. male side of the mount has to 1st dip under the fender female mount then the rest of the motor can slide in to place and finally line both mounts up and slide your bolts in. then try doing that with this thing... http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2705191 i think the motor came out 5 or 6 times throughout the process... FUN!!! now that the CRX is gone, the EK's getting an H22 swap. http://www.cardomain.com/ride/3385690 Another BIG motor going into a small bay.
