As you know, I'm working on returning the Radio Flyer back to pretty much stock and getting it running clean again. It has a pp6 installed and I've been trying to figure out what to do with it.
The car will be returned back to stock configuration with the exception of a 3" TBE. So the car doesn't need the PP6 to control anything at that point.
So my delima has been to leave the PP6 installed or do I pull it out. I haven't done much research on this yet so I'm not looking for detailed responses, unless you feel inclined.
1) Are there many wires that actually get spliced during installation of the unit or are most the wires just a tap.
2) How easy is to let the PP6 run with zero change to fuel/timing parameters? I.e. how easy is it to run the car stock without removing the PP6. Is there anything simple like a jumper I can just plug in and bypass all the PP6 mapping?
Any other thoughts? I'm leaning towards leaving it in as the car has great potential and many of the 'big' things will already be addressed to make real power such as the tranny, clutch, and exhaust. I won't be making the car into a beast again but the next owner may want to and I also hate undoing the nice installation work to get the PP6 installed.
FWIW, I have the cable to connect the PP6 to a laptop but I have no software or anything else.
Thank you in advance.

I think there are only 3 cut ecu wires that get routed through the PP6 and the rest are tee'd in.
There should be a jumper plug you can just plug onto the harness to bypass the PP6...sounds like you might be missing that part.
Legacy777 has a wiring writeup on the PP6 in a TLeg which would help you wire it back to stock if you choose that route.
