where the f%$& can i find a light fly wheel for 1991 subaru legacy 2.2l?! :-x some one told me that a 2.5rs flywheel is the same and i cant find one of those either! so if i get my stock one milled about how much can they take off?

2.5 rs flywheel is not the same. It is setup for a push style clutch. The turbo legacy uses a pull style clutch.

Your best option is to use ann 02-04 WRX lightweight flywheel & clutch.

I'm sorry....thought it was a turbo.

Then yes a 2.5 RS flywheel should work. You may need the clutch and pp from the 2.5.

One thing to note is the 2.5 RS pressure plate is going to be stiffer, and may be more difficult to actuate with the cable clutch pedal setup.

well i just bought F1 stage 3 clutch for the lagacy. will a 2.5rs flywheel work with one of them? and do you know a website that sells them i just cant find one?

I'd probably go with the second one, the XTR if I had to choose.

The flywheel will bolt up to the motor. The thing that will likely be different is the diameter of the clutch and pressure plate. There's a chance you could get them to work just fine....but I don't have any direct experience to say one way or another.

Hopefully someone else that has done this can help.
