I have a bosch one in my car I believe, and I took the wiring clip for it off an audi at the junk yard, so I assume most audis have the same sensor.

This is what I am using, and should work with your AEM computer.

tuner recommends this: http://www.aemelectronics.com/air-inlet ... sensor-638

the deal with this, at least in my head is what really makes this "AEM" sensor so different than a standardized, universal... other manufacturer. i mean its not like this piece of copper and brass is all that different than a different IAT sensor from anyone else.

is the price so high just because its AEM? thats what i bet at least

Hmmm. It uses a GM plug. Maybe it's a GM sensor?

Edit: It is. Get it for much cheaper at the dealer.

for thirteen bucks i wonder if its worth it haha thats a much better deal, but if they are different and they read differently or whatever then thats a problem.

it would make sense if it was a GM sensor, because they do (delphi) tend to make the majority of the electronic components.. or maybe thats just in US? i dunno but my MAP sensor is a GM 3 bar one...more research to be had!

That AEM picture is of the GM sensor. I'm guessing AEM wants $100 for it, just like they do for their BCS, which is $22 unit from MAC.

From Brydon:

"The AEM sensor is basically a GM sensor it just comes with a pigtail and a bung to weld it in. You can use any AIT that is on the wizard list. Just go into the software and select the wizard under the AIT section. I use the factory WRX sensor."

Good....yeah that AEM sensor is just GM sensor. Ballenger Motorsports has a lot of the sensors, pigtails, and stuff for engine management systems.

I've been pretty happy with their service.
