manual valvebody for 4eat?

Post by 970subaru »

anyone know of a manual valve body for a 4eat or a way to convert to that? a friend has one on his th350 in a v8 s10 and its scary fast. it makes the shift detents harder so its easier to shift manually. also gives full lockup in every gear. not sure if one exists, but one of you might know about it?
I love to case.

cool, thanks. I heard for some transmissions to install a shift kit you must dissassemble the whole unit, others you can just drop the pan. I think Ill try contacting transgo about the manual valvebody, as far as I know its not much more than a stiffer spring and enlarging a hole somewhere.
I love to case.
