91 light harness & 92 light harness

other then the side markers on the fenders and blinkers being on the bottom of the bumper is the wireing pretty much plug and play?

i did a 91 front end converion on my 92 a long time ago, but the problem is my high beams are dim and it sounds like a relay is going to pop.

so i was just going to just swap the whole harness from a 91. think it would work?

it should work i think you'll have to swap the plugs for the headlights out, also you have the bumper marker lights in the 91 where as they were in the corners. It can be done just have to rewire a few plugs

what i did with the 92 harness is i wired up the 91 style headlight conectors but it seems not to like it cause like i said my high beams are really dim and i hear a high whineing sound from the relay.


im planing (if it will fix the problem) to just pull out my 92 harness out of my 92 car and replace it with the 91 harness. im just mostly concerned with the wiring at the SMJ being diffrent causeing my other wiring issues.

I haven't looked over the diagrams, but there are likely going to be other changes at the SMJ.

Try replacing the relay...
