Re: HELP ENGINE HARNESS ECU
well if you don't swap the front chassis harness, you will atleast need the N/A engine harness installed on the 22t engine, and you will have to move several pins on the ecu plugs and wire in all the boost sensors.
That is ofcourse if you wish to keep the chassis harness on the n/a
Or just swap out the whole front harness with a turbo harness... there's not much to taking the dashboard out at all.

Re: HELP ENGINE HARNESS ECU
it's much much less of a hassle to just swap the harnesses

Re: HELP ENGINE HARNESS ECU
uh, i think it's best to pull from the inside, you'll have to remove your hvac stuff as well.

Re: HELP ENGINE HARNESS ECU
when i went to un bolt the black plastic for the ac and heater it was holding on aluminum pipes that i dont even think u can get at i just smashed my ss one apart lol gunna have to be more carefull with my other car lol
Re: HELP ENGINE HARNESS ECU
Keep your n/a engine harness and just relocate the coolant temp sensors to the driver's side of the harness and use it on the turbo motor. Other than that, all you need to add are the turbo specific sensor wiring, wastegate solenoid (boost control), MAP sensor, & pressure exchange solenoid.
You will also need to swap the positive leads for the crank & cam sensors.
