Look up state DMV website. NHTSA may also have it, but that's more national. Even a google search would probably net you it.
Midnight in a Perfect World on Amazon or order anywhere. The first book in a quartet chronicling the rise of a man from angry criminal to philanthropist. Midnight... is a distopic noirish novel featuring 'Duchess', a modified 1990 Subaru Legacy wagon.

Does Florida have a section of the MVC that states that any equipment on the car must be in working order? We have a section in Michigan like that. You don't have to have fog lights, but if the car is equipped with them they must be in working order.
You've made me look in the statute book for that one.
316.220 Headlamps on motor vehicles.--
(1) Every motor vehicle shall be equipped with at least two headlamps with at least one on each side of the front of the motor vehicle, which headlamps shall comply with the requirements and limitations set forth in this chapter, and shall show a white light. An object, material, or covering that alters the headlamp's light color may not be placed, displayed, installed, affixed, or applied over a headlamp.
(2) Every headlamp upon every motor vehicle shall be located at a height of not more than 54 inches nor less than 24 inches to be measured as set forth in s. 316.217.
(3) A violation of this section is a noncriminal traffic infraction, punishable as a nonmoving violation as provided in chapter 318.
This is what I found, but it's from 2006

Unless there's more detail, I don't see anything against running 4 uncovered light.

Re: Mounting 4 Hella's
Eh, it'll technically be 6 since I already have two lower ones, but I'm not gonna run more than the two low ones for night driving. They'll be offroad only. The 500's have the solid stone covers and the FF1000's have the clears.
Re: Mounting 4 Hella's
So does anyone have the dimensions of this bar? I'd really like to make one now and mount up my lights
I have a neighbor that can weld so it's feasible now.

It was 1" flat bar and 1" angle iron, both 3/16th thick. From there you should be able to figure it out with a tape measure and some planning.
