At work I felt the difference between normal steel hoods and the WRX, STi, and new forrester Aluminum hoods, WOW. Did Subaru ever offer an aluminum hood for the Legacy Turbo? Any aftermarket company's? After feeling the difference the Stock hood is pretty damn heavy.

Haha, yes it is. I remember lifting the hood on a WRX once and I nearly threw the thing into the windshield!!!

David Carter was making fiberglass ones for the 91 wasn't he? That would be a lot lighter then the stock hood.
