Replacing bulbs in OE radio?

Post by 123c »

Has anyone replaced the bulbs in their OE radio, in mine, several of the bulbs are burned out, and would like to replace them if it's something easy to do, and if so, does anyone know what bulbs they take...

It's just leds on the pcb behind the buttons, you have to take the whole radio apart though to access it. Just desolder the old ones and solder in new ones, if you're going through all that work though you migh as well take the time to change them all to a different color or take the nipples off and go white. I think they are the 3mm leds, dunno anything else about em though.
