Request: factory wiring diagrams for 90/91 engine management

Post by vrg3 »

Like the title says... I would like a look at the "engine electrical" wiring diagrams from a 1990 and/or 1991 service manual. These would be the ones in the electrical manual, not the engine & drivetrain manual. If anyone has them I'd really appreciate a scan of it or something.

Josh... Knowing your past generosity I'm looking in your direction... :)

I've got the Haynes and Chiltons diagrams... they're just not very good. Anyway, I'm looking for differences between 90/91 and later years, and third-party manuals don't really distinguish between them.

ciper - Maybe you should consider bidding on this auction:

What in particular do you need from the 1991 manuals? Info about the '91 turbo, since it was so different from the 1992-1994 ones?

I have an extra 'section 2' (engine) manual and I could lend out the remaining sections (the only one I don't have is section 1, but that's just like owner's manual info). Got 'em from ebay last summer for $50.

Since there's a lot of stuff in the "engine electrical" section.....if you have a specific item you're looking for, that would make things easier.......

I really don't have time to scan the entire section though....

Just the wiring diagrams. It should only be two pages or so in section 6-3.

Josh - No rush at all... I've been trying to figure this thing out for more than a month so I don't mind waiting more... Take your time. I appreciate your help.

ciper - Wow, you got the manuals for a pretty good price!

I have all the 91 manuals except for book 1 (which is just basically the owner's manual). What do people need? I can probably scan diagrams, but it may take a while as i have to use my sister's scanner. (I don;t even have a printer - I just use this thing to write mostly).
