would it make a difference if i put a ecu computer from a 2.5liter in my 2.2liter?(non turbo)
- give it any more air intake, therefore better performance or somthing? ive been reading bout those chips like slr etc and no way can it give so much hp like some people saying upto 50hp. hahah crazy! but i just want to know if these chips actually help? or which one would be the best? and would it make a difference. i trust people on here more than reading random things on the net. :-)

You won't be able to do that. The ECU plug connectors are different and the ECU pin outs are different as well.

As for the chips, most just tweak the coolant temp sensor and cause the engine to run rich. Which if the engine is tuned lean can help, but Subarus typically are not tuned lean, so it will actually hurt performance. Don't bother with them.
