drives but has no power

yesterday i took the pos for a drive. it shifts better but has no power even when floored. there is a quick hit of power between first and second, after that nothing. it just creeps up to speed. i also did a code check and the d check and on the active code check it flashed 7 time rapidly

well i did the active drive test came up with code 45
Pressure sensor and pressure exchange solenoid valve i'm guessing MAP sensor?
and code 51 inhibitor switch

Check if all the vacuum hoses coming off the MAP and related stuff are not cracked, and plugged in properly.

i did. i replaced the lines double checked the connections and even put my spare one in

I kinda have the same thing going on with my EJ22t Impreza, been trying to figure it out for almost a month. I have no codes and have replaced every sensor on the car but still haven't figured it out.

Geez, I just read through your build thread, what a nightmare. Weird thing, is I was having troubles with the TPS when I first got my swap done, but instead of messing with adjusting the TPS, I just swapped out the throttle body with one that I had lying around, and the code went away. Did you end up swapping out the bulkhead harness on your car? I take it the TPS code went away?

i switched the last two wires around, and when i get the extra money i'm getting a spare throttle body. the tps and iacv still need adjusted. i been looking for a video on it but no luck.

if the tps is still out of wack would that cause fuel cut? i replaced Pressure sensor and pressure exchange solenoid valve. cleared the codes and still there is fuel cut. it revs up to 3k then just kinda pokes along. i keep reading about a main relay. where is it located

So did the TPS code go away or do you still have it?

Did replacing the MAP sensor and pressure exchange solenoid cause that code to go away?

The ignition and fuel pump relays are up under the dash to the far left. You can see pics here.

tps code is gone and i have to do a active check here soon. i just put my tps wire like you showed in the pic

well it idles at 650 rpm i'm happy when it stops raining i'll take it for a spin

well its a tad slug ish but it goes. if i manually shift its like a rocket. i think this nightmare is over. thanks josh for all your help. i'm going to put some fresh plugs in in the morning

As I mentioned in the PM, reset the ECU it removes the stored memory of things being wiring improperly.

i unhooked the negative cable for the night. now when i get the money i can start replacing some trim pieces.

reset the ecu and drove it this am. still doesnt have a kick down feeling when hit the throttle while rolling. and it feels like it starting out in second gear unless i manually start in first. but that is all minor right now

Have you checked both the ECU & TCU for codes?

tcu just say inhibitor switch same with the ecu

The TCU doesn't have an inhibitor switch code. Exactly what are you doing to check the ECU and TCU codes?

An inhibitor switch code from the ECU might explain why the transmission isn't shifting properly.

well after i reset the ecu for a 3rd time took it for a spin hammered the throttle it kicked down and pushed me back in my seat. it idles smoothly at the white mark just under the 1000 rpm so i'm guessing its at the 700 mark. after 1000 miles i'll try a boost launch just to see if it will do it lol.

just need to find a cheap 06 tmic and get a upgraded fuel pump.this subie will do 80 on the highway if i'm not watching lol
