92 turbo sedan transmission bad.

I just swapped transmission from a 94 touring wagon into a 92 sedan. both turbos but will not drive . the electrical harness on the drivers side is diff any way to fix this want this sedan to beat up the snow. please help!

Yes the harness worked on the transmission I took out of the sedan but the harness thats in the transmission fron the touring wagon is different. Is there a way to re-pin to match the cars harness?

You need to elaborate more on what you are doing. Are both autos? Are bot manuals? Is the first trans you took out an auto? Are you doimg a 5 speed swap?

We need more info to help you.

my bad! both autos yes. there are 2 wiring harness on the transmission 1 is right the other is different but fits. the car is not circulating tranny fluid nor will it go into gear.shift selector says its in drive and etc... but car doesn't move. the harness on the drivers side off the tranny is different than the make end in the car. BTW both trannies are auto and both turbo. the one I swapped was from a 94 touring wagon to a 92 sedan. both cars are turbos.

So what you need to do is take the harness off the old transmission and put it on the new transmission. Also make sure your gear selector cable is connected properly.

Just to clarify.....are you talking about the harness that comes out of the transmission and has the two plugs? The 92 & 94 transmissions should be compatible.

Can you look at the scans of the trans plugs in this picture and tell us which ones match your two different transmissions?
