92 Legacy 5mt shifter bushings
My 92 Legacy fwd w/5 spd MT needs shift rod bushings. Are there after market sources, or is this strictly a dealer item. Dealer wants $40 a piece. Yikes. Also am I better off replacing all the bushings and o-rings down to the stay rod too while I'm down there. HELP! Randall

Re: 92 Legacy 5mt shifter bushings
I spent somewhere around $150 for ALL the bushings for a shifter job from http://www.subarugenuineparts.com
Well worth the investment IMO. Even got the spring.
My shifter was really sloppy before the new bushings went in and it's so much more wonderful now.
Make sure you double check your parts and numbers. They goofed up my order and mixed up the numbers, gave me an extra o-ring and shorted me a different one.
