Turn signals decided to stop working today...

Post by BiNiaRiS »

Went to work this morning with no issues. Got in my car after work and neither the left or right is working.

Before this, I think the passenger side marker/blinker was out. Went i used the right turn signal it blinked about twice as fast as normal. I just hadn't gotten around to checking it. If the left side one went out too would that cause them to not work at all? Or something like that?

It's crazy cold outside so I really don't want to go out and look it it now. Thought I'd ask the legacycentral hive mind first hoping someone else has had this happen before.

And everything else works. Dashlights, brights, normal lights, ebrake light, dimmer, etc.

I know this is basic but did you check the fuse? The filament in the bulb might have shorted it out on the other filament and popped the fuse.

Haha, I just came back to post that I just checked the fusebox...didn't want to even go outside but figured i should check that first. And of course that was it. I usually don't post looking for help until I've really tried a lot myself but I guess I got lazy this time.

So false alarm, and thanks for the quick response though rallyak.

No problem. Last week it was below zero here and now we are in the 30s. I've noticed that our weather makes it to the lower 48 about a week later, so it should warm up soon.

It's been stupid down here...Portland winters are never that harsh. It's supposed to hit 10 degrees here tonight which is absurd for this area. My body isn't used to this shit, haha.

Tell me about it, It was 21 degrees outside the other day and I had to walk around and collect rent from 2 of our mobile home parks. Even with thermals on I was still freezing.....
