Fix IAC valve

I did some searching about cleaning it. Someone in a thread mentioned removing the top of the IAC. There is like NO room to get in there and remove the IAC. With these turbo cars things are SO cramped compared to my 93 N/A. Symtoms are after driving for like 20mins+ i get the idle creeping to like past the point in the middle. It seems like when I put it in neutral it will die down faster? What would create this issue? If I rev it doesn't really change just changes if I let it creep down idling on its own. Could the TPS cause this issue to? It is not a steady problem only after driving for a while. It gets pretty annoying for me Thanks!

If you really think it is the IAC, yes it's a bitch to get to. You'll have to remove all those tubes to get at it... lots of fun.

As a temporary fix, spray some carb cleaner (or whatever cleaning solvent you prefer) down the IAC intake tube (connects to the airbox) after you've warmed things up (car is off). Let it sit a while. Often helps for a little while longer till you can clean it.

Oh, I never tried that. So once it is warmed up fill up the hose and let it sit. Ok cool. Ill give it a shot tomorrow.
