CV axle grease

Post by Sixstarsierra »

Hey, I'm about to reboot one of my front axles, and I was wondering what folks here are using for axle grease? In the past I have always used the subaru OEM grease, but it's not cheap. Is there a cheaper grease that is of equal or greater quality?

Thanks!

If you're using boot kits that don't come with grease, any moly grease should work just fine, I wouldn't worry about buying expensive/"high performance" grease, as long as it is lithium grease with moly you should be set.

What he said. They don't care, nothing special. Any moly CV grease will work.
