Cam choices...

Post by EurosportRally »

Hey guys,

I am ready to finish off the motor. I have two choices of cams to use, stock EJ25 cams or twin turbo JDM cams. I have been using the legacy cams with my previous EJ20 motor, but I was wondering if there are any advantages of the EJ25 cams.

Motor has the following:

JE pistons (8.5:1 CR)
Eagle Rods
Stock forged crank
Running 18-24 psi.

Thanks,

Andrew

Without knowing cam specs, I would GUESS at the turbo cams as the other cams are for a N/A car and would probably have more overlap. Cam specs would tell the tale for sure though.
