I'm not exactly sure what maintainence was done by the previous owner before I bought the car.
I was wondering if I should worry about clutch fluid flushing or tranny flushing?
Would it be a good idea or a waste of time and money?
5MT by the way (obviously, lol).
Tranny maintainence.

If the clutch fluid isn't clear and light-colored, I'd flush it. Just like brake fluid.
I don't know how many miles are on your car, but gear oil is easy to change and it couldn't hurt anything. I don't remember what the recommended interval is but chances are your car has the same gear oil it left the factory with.

I actually did both my transfer case's this last weekend. It was totally easy! The only tools I used were a 5 ton floor jack, some jackstands a set of metrics some 80W90 gear oil, my finger, a catch pan and a shop light.
It took all of 30 minutes once I had the car up on the jacks. Did the tranny flush at a shop though -I'm probably going to do it again myself, however. I'm totally anal about keeping everything clean so I plan on doing some undercarrige scrubbing while I'm under the car.

96k on the clock now.
I don't know if I'll have the time. I might just wait and take it to Jiffy Lube and get all fluids flushed and changed (except clutch and brakes). I hate to do it, but being in college, I don't have the time.
