New pics tinted all around

Post by QuickDrive »

http://quickdraw.dynu.com/tint

17% rears
35% fronts

Makes the car look much less like a typical sedan.

Don't mind my blinging steelie on my right rear, it's temporary until I get my 16's

Lemme know whatcha thinks

Looks good! Where'd you get it done? How much did they charge you for it?

I want to tint mine, but other stuff keeps coming up. :(

I got it done at a local shop here.

Got my windows and my Girlfriends Cavalier back 3 for 250$ cash.

Pretty good stuff too, gauranteed against fade bubbling warping purpling... stuff like that.
I"m pleased.

Nice tint job. The difference from the front and back doen't look nearly as noticable as mine (20/5). Plus, I bet you can still see out your back windows at night.

5% Ouch, yes, I can see out at night, which is necessary for retaining the whole "window" effect, I like it.

Being able to see out the back has always been a concern of mine when it comes to getting tint done. I'll have to remember your ratios when I finally get the money together to do it.

Damn, that looks really good. Makes me reconsider getting 35% instead of the 20% I was thinking about.

the tint was merely for theft deterence. WHen i get the new car done, i'll leave the driver's side window clear, how does that sound?

So are you like They Might Be Giants where they usually have a horrible opening act to make them sound so much better?

Having 5 in the back is nice and it makes the windows just about as dark as the trim unless the sun is shinning in such as way that you can see through it slightly. It really shades the back seat as well, which I like. I can actually see just fine out the back, usually. The biggest problem is in rural areas were there isn't a street lamp. My old house up in Washington, for example, had a garage separate from teh house and we'd have several cars there all the time. Manuevering around back there without many lights sometimes made it hard to see. If I had it to do over again I might go with a higher percentage, but once the summer hits I'm pretty glad I have it.

Tint makes our cars look sooooo much better. Especially on the wagons :D With all of the black trim, having relatively dark windows just makes the car match much better.
