What motor to use

Post by Ujima »

Hey im getting a 93 liberty (there liberty over here in Oz) wagon AWD and i want to get more power out of it. Will it be better getting a half-cut EJ20T from a RS liberty or a EJ20TT from a B4. Will a EJ20TT fit without many troubles. Is there anything strucual I will have to do and is there anything you reconmend to do to the motor and gearbox while it is out. Also is there anything i could do to the stock motor if a new motor is out fo the question. Thanx

Your asking the wrong crowd. :(

We don't have TT in the USA unfortunately (or fortunately depending on who you talk to.) Have you looked up the australian forums?

any EJ20t or EJ20tt will fit, however i'll suggest getting a halfcut so that you have wiring loom, computer, etc........
