I'm guessing a good candidate donor for his 5MT conversion currently lives in West Palm Beach.

yeah.....it's a 5spd awd wagon. it's an ebay jobber....looks ok....but I'd prefer someone look at it before I lay down the cash. The auction ends tomorrow evening....and his reserve hasn't been met.....so either people will snipe it at the last minute.....or I told him if he doesn't sell it I'd be interested in.

So depending on how things work out with that, I'd be extremely appreciative if someone could take a quick once over on it.

I talked to the guy.....he's looking to sell it by this weekend, and he said his reserve was like 700 bucks. I told him my upper limit was 1000, he seemed excited.

The only thing I didn't like is the previous owner before him smoked a lot of cigars.....so I'm not so sure I'd like that.....assuming this would be the one I'd try and keep, rather then just use as the donor parts car.

So unless I can get someone to look at it by this weekend, he'll probably sell it to the one who was the highest bidder on ebay.
