Damn you code 22 damn you to hell!!
Well like most people here ive replaced my knock sensore and the CEL is still on. I even did ye old disconnect battery to reset ecu thing. Guess I should have it cleared or something. Other than that the car seems to run just fine. My question is would it be safe to drive it on the highway 70-80 mph??

hehe, I'm throwing that all the time now, that at 24. NOthing bad will happen if you drive it with the code thrown. It'll just retard timing.

Mine went off after I washed the engine at a car wash and the engine misfired until the water burned off or otherwise went away. It only stored the code anyway and I haven't had it go off since.

If the sensor isn't working, you probably will.

then I guess the sensor is working or something cause the car seems fine. Could it be that I just need to clear the ECU the other way cause the battery disconnect reset didn't do it.

The battery disconnect has never worked for me. I do the procedure where you put the connectors together and hold the gas then drive for a minute or whatever. That worked for me.

Well, fixed my boost leak, user error, and the car SEEMS ok, but now the A/F gauge is reading close to full rich whenever I accelerate past half throttle. My CEL is still on, still throwing code 22. Still trying to figure out why. Oh and I can't find the green connectors under the steering wheel to do the reset thing.
Any suggestions as to why these things might be happening or what I could try to fix it?

really? its just before, it was reading in the middle of the green section now its almost at the end, so this is normal? Or in other words it won't hurt my engine right?

But before, your engine wasn't running right, right?
Running rich on boost shouldn't hurt your engine.
In any case, you really can't rely heavily on an "air/fuel ratio" gauge of the type you're using for diagnosis, particularly with the stock 3-wire oxygen sensor... it basically just tells you "rich," "stoich-ish," or "lean."
I think you're okay. Our stock engine management is supposed to run very rich on boost.

It was running right, maybe it finally picked up on the fact that im running 2psi over stock boost
Good, yeah ive heard that the A/F is just a "best guess" device AKA passenger entertainment, now I just need to reset the ecu or clear the fault codes and im good to go.
as long as I don't here any terrible horrifying noises from my engine, I think ill be ok.
