fuel shutdown?
I recently turbo'd my 91 L, runs great and I used all turbo piarts except the block. As my engine reaches normal operating temp anything past half throttle will pretty much stall the car. Any ideas???

Did you take a VF-11 from a turbo legacy and use that or did you use some other turbo? And what about the ECU? Boost controller? What level of boost are you running? Do you have a boost gauge - if so what level does the car seem to stall at?
The turbo block has many improvements over the n/a block as I understand it... more clearance between the coolant passages and the combustion chamber, larger coolant passages, everything made to take boost. I wonder if heat will be an issue with this setup. Which radiator are you using?

Are you running stock N/A compression or did you lower it somehow? If using the stock ECU do you get any codes? Is it the stock fuel system?
The turbo block is rediculously stronger as an FYI.

Midnight in a Perfect World on Amazon or order anywhere. The first book in a quartet chronicling the rise of a man from angry criminal to philanthropist. Midnight... is a distopic noirish novel featuring 'Duchess', a modified 1990 Subaru Legacy wagon.
I'm running all 91 turbo gear compressor, ecu, intake and heads, unless the heads lower the compression... I'll say no. I put in an sti fuel pump today... no difference, I'm going to bypass the boost control and try to lower the boost a little. And yes when this happens I get a check engine light, I have to go to my buddy's house and pick up the select monitor.

I'm running the stock rad modified to work with the reservoir, temp isn't a problem stays about the same as before. And yes the n/a block is completely open deck. I plan on putting in my 2.0 block when I get the 2.2 rebuilt for the impreza.

Fuel cut beyond about half throttle on the turbo ECU is usually associated with a trouble code for one or more of the following:
Boost control solenoid (code 44)
Pressure sensor (code 45)
Pressure exchange solenoid (code 45)
You don't need a Select Monitor to read trouble codes: http://www.surrealmirage.com/subaru/engine.html
Since you're using the turbo ECU, I presume you switched the cam and crank angle sensor signal wires... Did you also add the wires for the aforementioned three devices?
I suspect you don't have the above three parts wired in correctly.
