Damn that looks beautiful and encourages me not to give up on 3-cyl. Barbarella. If I wanted three cyls I'd have bought a Justy. My turbo will have to wait a little longer now.

This thing is super sweet guys. The ceramic coating is beeeauuuutiful! I can't wait to get it in. I'm going to have to figure out my compressor outlet to TMIC piping though. The outlet is at a 90 instead of a 45 like the VF11.

Contact Jerry at Deadbolt. He's a great guy to deal with and really knows his stuff, I highly recommend his services. He can hook you up with a 90 degree for your TD04. He actually specifically mentions being able to do that in his thread in the Vendor forum.

It is a BRAND NEW TD05H (like the ones on your Ausie 93-96 STI's) that has been Monster ported and has ceramic coating on the compressor housing and the exhaust turbine housing. It also has the coolant lines set up for the USDM Legacy turbo so that may be why it might look different then what you're used to. I can't wait to get it in!

The inlet or the outlet? The inlet isn't even near the intake manifold. The outlet has me a little worried though. I know guys are running this exact same turbo on the EJ22T so it must work without too much problem. I always heard the biggest problem was switching the coolant lines around but mine are already set up so that shouldn't be a problem.
What did you do with your VF34?

the inlet elbo comes up right next to the intake manifold. when installing a larger turbo (one that has a larger compressor side housing) the inlet elbo keeps inching towards the intake manifold (or the front of the engine) All I know is that I had to make a totally custom elbo pipe to get by the small gap I had between the turbo inlet and the intake manifold. I'll get some pics up......

Oh ya, ok I see what you're talking about. Sorry, I guess I was thinking about the TB istead of the intake manifold. Ya, it is tight there but mine should fit. The 90 degree elbow on mine starts turning up sooner I think because your VF34 has the straight inlet instead of the 90 degree like mine.
That looks VERY restrictive . Is there anyway you could do a custome intake and go under the intake manifold or is it too tight?

Hmm, that upper coolant line looks like it's pointed in the appropriate direction for cars that have the coolant filler tank in the front right of the engine bay (i.e. all EJ turbo cars except ours).

i would prefer to twist my turbo and chop the 90 degree bend off, I don't care what anyone says, but the 90 degree bend hinders more than helps.......

Well, the other way would be to trim the compressor inlet tube down a little... Or to cut it off entirely and weld on studs to mount the stock inlet elbow on it.
