Yes you can, but why would you want to? :P

Honestly, the air suspension is nothing but trouble. It's a weird system to work with, guaranteed to fail in due time, and unbelievably expensive. I was fortunate to buy my XT with a complete new air suspension system, a cost of approximately $2500, and I paid $1600 for the car.

Nonetheless, if you can find a good set of air struts from a Legacy here in the States, and an air compressor and tank, and computer to run the whole thing, then yes you can. You can order this stuff new, but the cost will approach the $4,000 range!

Hello subyluvr2212,

I want to mont an air suspension because I think it can be softer and more comstable than the original one. This one is to firm for me. And I´m impressive with the possibility to higher the chassis. ( My car can not run to the sand) What do you think?

Yours,

Wait for Prodrive's active suspension to come out. I've heard the system will go for $3000 US, but will allow cornerweighting and ride height adjustment as well as constantly adjusting the ride for bump absorption and handling. There will be several settings ranging from more comfortable than stock to track stiff.

Agreed. You're going to pay an arm and a leg anyway for the factory Subaru air suspension, might as well pay the same price and get one that performs waaaay better.
