The cost of shipping would probably make the choice between various online merchants, but the best online price I know of is $7.65 per quart:

A lot of places have it for about 8 bucks a quart, though; just do a Google search for "redline d4" and they'll come up.

that's not bad.......may give them a shot....I'll see what I can get it for locally....if I can.
Should I be going with the D4 fluid over some of their other stuff....any particular reasoning.....ciper....I know you have experience with the D4 fluid....comments?

Just did the change this weekend. I bought it locally for like $9.49 a quart.
The old fluid wasn't too bad...it was definitely red, but looked a little dirty. The surprising thing was how much came out. Almost 6 1/2 quarts came out. I almost had a 7qt pan full.
So I'm thinking that the drain back valve that goes to the torque converter is busted, so the whole torque converted drained. This would gel with how the car responds in the morning when I first start it up. If you give it gas it just sort of sits there for a few seconds. Oh well.....at least I got almost all the fluid out.
Can't really tell a difference yet. We'll see how she reacts.

no...didn't really fix anything......I'm going to be ditching the auto shortly, so it's not really of too much concern now.
