What is this thing? I have noticed it mostly on european market legacys. It appears to be a digital toy of some sort, but instead us yanks recieved useless cup holders.
ok i knew about the climate control thing, and thats why i questioned the above picture. like i said i have only seen this on european legacys.
here is a picture of the japanese climate control (well sorry kinda bad picture). and you can that they recieved the cup holders like us, with the digi climate control above.
Now the legacy pictured in my original post has the manual climate controls like ours above this "thing" i am questioning. i have never heard of an automaker installing both digital auto climate control and manual adjustment in the same car at the same time. thats why i didnt think it was climate control.
i am not doubting you tho, i would just think if they wanted to give the euros climate control, they would just use the same one thats in the jap spec models.
It sorta resembles some turbo-timers I have seen. But I don't know of any manufacturer that has put those in a mass-production vehicle. But do you know what? It might just be a clock, with a couple of buttons to set it. Just a shot in the dark.
hmm, well the euro legacys got the same stereo we did, with the same clock etc. so i dunno if 2 clocks would be neccessary.
it appears to have 7 buttons (4 on the left, 3 smaller on the right) so i dunno even if it is a clock its gotta have other features to justify the number of buttons.
whatever it is its gotta be cooler than cup holders that block both the climate and radio controls
Hi,
it is simply has left to leave the antenna, with with dimensions for the luminosity of the posting of the hour, in the medium the hour and to regulate the hour on the right...
I hope to have been able to answer your interogation...
