1990 Legacy N/A 4:11 rear diff.Help I can't get the little splined stub axles out .There seems to be a small bolt inside the stub axle .Any easy way to get these stub axles out.I'm not meaning the C/V joint ,I mean the ones that stick out after the C/V joints have been removed. This is an URGENT request.
Cheers
Chris

I'm not sure how you remove those, but can I ask why you need to?

Looks like Subaru calls those stub axles "spindles" and the factory service manual recommends some kind of special wrench.
So maybe you need to somehow access that bolt that you see inside the stub axle. Is it not possible to reach it with a regular socket or something?
