Help, Weird Drivetrain sounds at speeds.

Post by QuickDrive »

This just started happening...

First some background, since I've been doing bodywork, the car hasn't seen much road time in the past month, 100 miles maximum. I took it out yesterday for a drive on the highway and as soon as I get to around 55mph I hear a wurrhing noise coming from what seems to be my driveshaft..

It's kinda high pitched but not that high and is there more when I am on the gas than it is while off.

Anyone have any ideas what this could be?

It's your tranmission. What part of it I don't know, but mine was making the same noise.

I'm on First and First. How can the same street intersect with itself? I must be at the nexus of the universe.

I thought so.
Since it's been acting very unfriendly lately.

I guess it's showing it's age.

Time to take it easy on the poor girl as I'm broke, and decide whether or not to source out 5mt parts, or rebuild or replace...
