The clutches are "softly" enguaged in the auto normally, and tighten up if a speed difference is seen.

How is this done? I know its hyd activated, well, cause, you know, there's FLUID! so.. how do we achieve a 50/50 split in all 4EAT gears?

Move the gear selector to the 2, 3, or 1 position will force 50/50 split.

The other way involves cutting into the duty c solenoid line, which IMO is more a pain in the arse then just moving the gear selector.

oh.. okay.
See, from what i understood, it was a 90/10 split in all of 'em except 1. hmm.. ok then, problem solved. Like all my other issues, it was all in my head...
Anyone starts singing Nelly, and I'll hurt you.

I normally drive in either 1, 2, or 3, so its not a big deal anymore.. I hate how D sucks my gas like a dirty french maid.
I shift it like a manual, so driving is hella fun this way.. I really am thankful for my 4EAT.
Thanks for answering the deadthread question.
