That's awesome! I tried a few relayively obscure bands and it had no problem. Showed some related bands I never heard of.

I tried some local bands that didn't work :(. It sucks because some of the bands that they ARE related to are big and they didn't even come up.

That is crazy! I was surprised at how many of the small ass punk and ska bands that it was able to come up with.

WOW. That's too cool.. I could spend all day there.. except, now i have to know what it does.. ..what exactly are the relationships, and how did he(the designer) come up with that research?

I'm not trying to ruin its cool factor by asking jackassy questions.

Starlight Mints and They Might be Giants have the nearly (if not exactly) the same relationships on the graph, but neither is mentioned in the other's graph. I think they just substituted one name for the other.

It's pretty cool but I don't like how some of it links together. And why is it off set to one side when you first do a search? That's annoying as hell.

Over all, a pretty cool site though. :)
