O2 Sensor Installation
I just bought a new O2 sensor for my Legacy Turbo. I beleive that the sensor in there is the original. I was trying to remove the old sensor and it refuses to budge. So I just wanted to make sure that turing it left would loosen and turningit right would tighten? Any other tips or suggestions? Thanks.

heat the flange with a torch and use an extension on the wrench if necessary.
I use an old 7/8 open end wrench which has the other end cut off so I can put a pipe on the handle. The size is really 22mm but the 7/8 fits pretty snug.
Any decent auto parts store will have a deep dish 22mm socket for oxygen sensors but they can be a bit pricey.

It's a normal right-handed thread, so you just have to get it to turn counterclockwise.
You sprayed it with PB Blaster, right? Do that if you haven't. Then tap the sensor gently with a hammer at various angles (sure, it could ruin the sensor, but you have a new one anyway). Then slip the wrench over it and use a hammer or pipe on it.
