Gran Turismo 4

Post by Tleg93 »

I wish that GT4 would hurry up and grace the shelves at the local EB games store. How else can you max out the mods on a Suby and only spend $50 doing it. :) I wonder if the max hp you get on a fully modded GT Suby reflects the actual max hp you can squeeze out of a real Suby, probably not but it would be cool.
Well, at least I have Baldur's Gate DA 2 to tide me over until it does. I just picked up a copy 2 days ago and I love it. My buddy and I have already put quite a few hours into it. It's too bad the ladies can't seem to get into gaming. There's a lot of potential there for some good times....

Ya, I can't wait for GT4 either.

I didn't know B.G. 2 was out  I thought they were having issues with the release. I can't wait to get it.

Ah, well met, adventurer. I am glad you have returned safely from your journey. What tales do you have to tell? If you check your inbox you will see a scroll I have left for you to read. :) Have your scribes scratch me a response if you have the time. I look forward to reading it.

(Yeah, I know it's a cheesy post)

I'm going to have to buy a PS2 again for GT4, since my modded XBox is the best thing since pay-at-the-pump.

I'll never use pay-at-the-pump again, i got 20 bucks stuck in one and the only reason i got it back was because some good person found it hanging out of the machine(no clue why it was like that), and he went in to see if anyone had left it and the gas attendant gave him my number and shit. The gas man probably wouldn't've called me at all, so yes screw that shit.

but yeah gt4 would be hot right about now.

Well now would be a good time to do that since you can get the bundle that comes with the updated ps2. The new one that's out has the network adapter built in and the infrared eye built in as well and it works better too. It's basically built the way it should have been built from day one. They are still selling the old style so beware, don't end up with the old model. The only thing it lacks is the hard drive but that's coming out soon with final fantasy 11 as a bundle deal.

THAWA: Pay-at-the-pump with cash? That's a new one. I'm talking cards here mang.

Padishar: Agreed. I sold my PS2 to a friend for cheap because all it would play were PS2 games, no PS1 and DVD started having problems. The updated one is a few bucks cheaper but like you said, has $80 or more in old-model accessories built in.

Please help raise the price of my stock and purchase the best god damn steering wheel ever made, Logitech Driving Force Pro

Specifically tested with gt4. 900 degrees of turning and real rack and pinion stearing. Rubber wheel with sequential stick shifter. Brake and Throttle pedals with good feedback. Oh and the best force feedback available.

Do a google for reviews on the product and you will see what I mean!

Dang, I'd want it. I just beat Need For Speed Underground last night. It was fun, but I was a bit dissapointed. Each of level of upgrades (although there were tons of differnt names you could choose from) were all the same. Plus, there was no replay! I wanted to see my runs in a replay camera. I have a few other beafs, but the game was entertaining.

You all are making me so jealous. I have no gaming system right now, at all. I wore my PSone out, I played it so much.

That said, I would personally challenge any of you in GT1 or GT2. When I got rid of all my stuff (I shouldn't'a sold my memory card  ) I had $10 million on GT1 and almost $40 million on GT2, both garages were full. No codes, just kept playing. This was back when I was 15, before I had any car or life

GT1, I won the USA-Japan championship with a Honda CRX!! I was up against Vipers and NSX's...

GT2, I beat the 2-hour Rome race with my modded WRX type RA. I lapped the Toyota GT-One two times...

I rule Gran Turismo...

Just like when GT3 was comming out (and GT2 for that matter). They kept pushing the release date further and further away. I 1st read not to long ago that the release date was finalized for Mid-December... now its March 15th. I dont plan on having my copy until Dec. 2005 :(

Laurel. GT4 will be alot better than GT3. They will have alot more tracks, alot more cars and finally they're ditching the circuit Rally Tracks and going for relay :)

I don't believe the mods want pics in your signiture TheSubaruJunkie. Just a heads up as they'll probably ask you to remove them. :)

I'm getting to the point where I may boycott GT4 just out of principle.

I say that but I know I'll end up buying it and playing it non stop. :(

Sure it's not an RS or GT?

games aren't pushed back to piss people off, they're pushed back to be as close to complete as possible. There is nothing worse than playing a game with a bunch of bugs or exploits. Personally I think they can take as long as they want. Hell don't release it til 06-07 if that's what it takes to get it right.

I never got far enough to lose my garage. I heard you had to store 99 cars, and the 100th would delete the entire garage.

And as far as pictures in my signature... get over it. If mod's dont want them, then they can remove the [img] tag from signature fields and it will solve it.

I preffer games with exploits ;)

do you just have the chip that reads copied games or do you have a 200gig hard drives and the x-box copy program that copies games right to the internal hard drive ;)
