Check this out. Anyone ever try this? Might do some good for you guys with the bigger fuel pumps. Anything that gets you farther away from detonation has to be a good thing.

It might get warmed up some by the fuel pump, and by the fuel returning from the engine bay, but...
Warm fuel (to a point) is a good thing, I think. It promotes better vaporization. That product is being sold to prevent vapor lock, not detonation. With modern EFI systems, vapor lock isn't an issue anymore. When the warm fuel does atomize, it still cools the intake charge a good deal because it's so volatile.

A water injection system is what you want, so that you're injecting a liquid that can rapidly absorb the heat in the intake air, making room for more air.
