I do not dispute Adam's assertion that 4/1 is overkill for a stock ECU. My only experience is with a Vortech (flaky bastards) 4/1 that I got through JC Sports (even flakier bastards).

Ok then...
If one were to buy an upgraded pump, such as a Walbro, what WOULD be
a suitable FPR for it?

first see how the stock one does....if your base presure at idle increases, then you need a new one..any adjustable one will do, all depends how complex of an isntall you want.
I personally use the Aeromotive ones, but they require you to ugrade to AN fittings for the fuel lines. Whatever you do, i would stay away from the B&M Command flow unit. I think Weapn R makes a nice 1:1 unit, as does SARD, though that might be tough to find
