tail lights?

Post by laser158754 »

I very dumbly broke my rear right tail light cover (sedan,
US spec)...just the outer red plastic shield, not the light itself
(not paying attention hooking up a trailor, and momentum not being my
friend) From the 2 places I have called, they have said that I need
to replace the whole assembaly for around $100 or so. Ugh. Anyways,
does anybody know a website where I could get any better of a price?
Thank you,
Zak

You might try a good wrecking yard. If your Legacy is anything like mine,
one brand new taillight lens and one 12 year old lens will look kinda funny.
I have the same problem with my wagon (backed into and demolished a '87
Accord and only scracthed my light and bumper cover), and am damned if I
will pay tons for a plastic lens. I am going out this weekend- if I see any
I'll let you know.

Alex

tail lights?

Someone hit me...cracked the lense......got one there for about 75 with
shipping if I recall correctly. Yes it's one whole unit that must be
replaced.

When you replace it.....make sure you sorta realign the black goo that
seals the light......Or else the light will not seal properly and you
will get leaks.
