The other gauge is A/F. I was in a horrible accident where the front end was trashed. The body shop was supposed to fix all of it, and yet the hood still doesn't latch all the way and the grill and light need to be aligned.

accident pics.. yikes! good to see your ok and the car is still going... it's funny how the front end (headlights) looks like a '91 in the 2nd accident pic

interesting air/fuel gauge, what does the little lcd display look like when on? just curious on how it displays the ratios :)

It's functional at idle , but since it's not a wideband I don't get a good accurate ratio. Looks neet though! :D

with damage like that you'd think it would be written off??? Rear quarter damage is expensive as hell, since it has to be cut out and welded back in. Did you do it yourself?

Mark,
With a car that is this old I don't have full coverage on it, so I can't just write it off. Plus it's a rare car. 93 5 speed. There were only like 20 something made as I recall. The QP was quite expensive. I think it was over 600 bucks alone. I don't have the body work know how to replace it, so I hade the shop that painted it replace it. Very dissastisfied.

Body work is the worst - I'd rather replace whole drivetrains several tiimes over. Body work is expensive to get done, a PITA and time consuming to do yourself, difficult to do right , and even harder to find someone else who can do a good job at it even after taking all your money.

Steve
Midnight in a Perfect World on Amazon or order anywhere. The first book in a quartet chronicling the rise of a man from angry criminal to philanthropist. Midnight... is a distopic noirish novel featuring 'Duchess', a modified 1990 Subaru Legacy wagon.
