Hey guys, i have a 91 Legacy L 5MT, about 125k on the odo.
I recently got it from my mom and was looking into fixing it up. Can it realistically be turned into anything speedy or am i better off saving the money for a Used turbo model and just driving this one into the ground till then?

realistically? no. The money is better off buying a whole turbo car. Thats not to say you cant find a junked turbo car and swap im parts for less but it's just easier to buy a working car.

If the car's in great shape and AWD, I don't see why finding and dropping in a turbo motor would be too expensive, but if the car needs work or is FWD then I would look for a specific turbo car.
