My sister's old 200k+mi. '93 LS sedan that she junked about a year ago for a dead CV joint that would not come out is still alive. Saw it yesterday parked a few blocks from my house. There's no doubt it was her car as the rust, dents, stickers, etc. were all there. I wonder if the JY sold it or if someone bought it from the yard and retitled it as salvage...

Like Freddy, it keeps coming back.

I don't see why a stuck CV axle would be cause for junking a car. Worst-case scenario: swap hubs! :roll:

Oh well, glad to see one more Leg escaped the crusher :D

The CV was stuck at the transmission side and my sister was about done with it anyway - rust, trashed interior, mold smell, but it ran well. You know women - they'd rather throw $500 a month at a new car than a couple hundred every year at an old one. At least she replaced it with an Outback.
