I know some people said that beeping when the key is in the ignition with the door open or whatever is annoying. I found out how to disable it. There's a couple of black plugs near your knee's under the dash. They're the same shape as the green plugs used to reset the ecu or read codes. It's in the same area as the scan tool plug. All you do is disconnect them. However when I did this and put hte key in the ignition the seatbelt light was flashing and I could remove the key with the shift selector in any position. I haven't tried it yet with the car on or anyhting, so I don't know if it does anything crazy or not. But just letting you know.
Now that I think about it, could this be a way to bypass the inhibitor switch when doing an at to mt conversion?
