My new old subaru legacy.( copyed from usmb.)
I have been looking for a legacy sedan with the Awd 5spd tranny for about a month now and finally I have one. And I am HAPPY!!!!! I had it tested at the local emissions place and it passed very fast, within about 13 seconds. It seems to get pretty bad gas milage though and I don't know if its just the gauge because its kind of funky when it gets to about 1/4 of a tank it just drops off to nothing when I stop and slowwwlly comes up to under 1/4 but the light never comes on. I have gone 7 miles total and I put 2.5 gallons in and it went from almost empty to 1/4. So i'm kind of freaking out at what kind of gas milage this thing might be getting. If it passes emissions doesn't that mean its in pretty good shape and should get in the 20's at least? I can settle for 20mpg in the city but like 3mpg Is not ok with me. It runs really good and it hauls pretty good ass. So i'm hoping its just a faulty tank sensor or something. I guess I will fill it up and see how long it takes to go to
A little something to add I was driving around with 2 of my friends and a red bmw that was dropped on some nice rims was smashing around so I decided to race him. At first he darted ahead but i kept right behind him up to 80 where I backed off. Then he pulled this cheap move where he put on his blinker at the light so i thought he was turning left but he wanted to go from a stop!? So he launched and i just putted off the line and he was like a block ahead. But I think I could have beat him on the freeway cause he started puffing out lots of black smoke at 70 or so. What was funny is at the light he goes... What u got in that thing? And i'm like its all stock with extra weight of people in it. Hes like damn haha.

Figured I would post pics of my other 2 pride and joys... Heres one of my 1983 subaru wagon which used to be turbo but it has had a heart transplant to regular ea81 n/a. I will be putting that up for sale shortly because I simply can't afford nor need 3 cars all to myself.
And the also newly aquired 1973 volvo 145 E with full Ipd suspension and 240 transmission, interior, and wheels. Beefier 1974 volvo B20 engine with slight mods.

We have WAY too many cars 6!!! 2 soobs 4 volvos.

Nice Volvo. I like the old 144s/5s, PV's, P1800s, and 122s.
Where are you located? I might be interested in the '83 wagon if it's a manual (although I assume auto as you said it was a turbo). I do love those EA81 cars - I had two of them. How's the body?

Midnight in a Perfect World on Amazon or order anywhere. The first book in a quartet chronicling the rise of a man from angry criminal to philanthropist. Midnight... is a distopic noirish novel featuring 'Duchess', a modified 1990 Subaru Legacy wagon.

Ya we have a crazy 1800 that looks stock and slow but its really fast. Never had a pv or a 122. Our 144 and our 1800 are both in very nice shape. I guess I could post pics of them too.
The passat in the background is gone...

and the 1800.

What year's the 144? I almost bought a beautiful off-white 1968 that looked very much like that with a built up dual-carb B20. I think I didn't get it because someone beat me to it, but I'm not sure. The 1800 looks perfect, too. There's a guy around here who has a blue ES and a red coupe with a full cage that moves. He races it at Lime Rock.
Like most cars, the new Volvos don't interest me, but I like the old ones. There's a company in NH that converts 240s to 5.0 V8s that I see sometimes that I think would be interesting to have.
