Squeaking CV Joint?

Well, my passenger side outer cv boot self destructed early last week, so I decided that it was time to replace both halfshafts,just to be safe. Today(sunday) my friend Joe, and Art got under the car and replaced both of them with fwd ones. Instead of dropping the LCA, they just undid the bolts on the struts, and accessed the shafts that way. It went off without a hitch, took about an hour and a half from the time I pulled in, to the time I was done, including snorkus removal time(best mod EVAR!) Now here's my question. Now, when I take tight left hand turns, I get a squeaky sound from the driver's side joint. It's nothing like the clicking you get from a bad joint. I'm curious if it just needs to keep moving around, and get grease worked into all of the nooks and crannies, or if there really is a problem, and I need to address it right away.

Tie rod ends, ball joints, sway bar bushing? Lots of things could be causing squeaks down there... I've never really noticed my CV's to squeak neccessarily, but I usually only listen for the tell-tale "click" assosciated with a dry CV joint.
I'd go over it closely while it's up on a jack -maybe you can spot something that might have been overlooked during the instalation of the new 1/2 shafts. Might be nuthin', could be somethin'.

Jack the wheel and try to move it up and down and side to side. Its easier if someone else shakes it side to side while you hold the tie rods to see if an inner or outer one is bad - that is if anything's loose there. Also check the condition of all the bushings, any loose trim, and the backing plate to the rotor as it may've been bent and when you corner the rotor gets close enough to contact it.

If they undid the bolts on the struts you may want to have your alignment looked at. I did that to mine once and threw it all out of wack.

The alignment was whack to begin with. . . was just eyeballed when the suspension was put on.

it's a metaly squeaking sound. I doubt anything got out of whack, it's not scraping either. The car needs an alignment, but i'm going to wait til i get new tires on teh car as well. Took the car around my complex, it's only when I have the wheel all the way to the left... and it's coming from the cv joint
