Interchangeable exhausts

Hi,

Does anyone know how interchangeable the Legacy exhausts are ?

For example, would a back box from a 1994 2.2 saloon fit on a 2000 2.5 saloon centre section without modification ? Are the pipe diamters and joints the same ?

Although most of us are more familiar with the USDM models

Assuming they are both Turbo models the backbox section should fit.

There may be hanger location problems, although I'm not sure of that. also the pipe length may be different.

Someone else will chime in here I'm sure to correct or agree with me.

My 93 and 2003 have different rear suspensions, and the pipe is routed differently on both cars.

Most exhaust will fit with enough modification though, however, it may be cheaper to find one that is for the car.
