Second information on TWIN TURBO BOXER 8 750 HP.............

Post by GT8 »

First I don't know why I got locked out, second I stuck to the subject and third...IDIOT posters who don't like what I have to say should do there research themselves on 1991 Subaru 2.2 Turbo's.... Apparently why I got locked out is perhaps redundant.

I do know that if you post some of the subject matter you are able to stay on a bbs....... unless someone is sleeping with the enemy so to speak!

Hi Brian...

Post by GT8 »

Where you the one that wanted to trade your Suby for my 2.2 Turbo Sport Sedan?

I noticed your car right off the bat!

Yea...... they locked me out of my first bbs for talking about the 750 HP Twin Turbo Boxer 8 Subaru is making for the concept crowd.

Second probably talking everyones ear off about FHI only making 15 (5) speed Turbo Sport Sedans in 1991. Also out of the 15 mine is black mica. Funny how this year brings that car color back FHI said to me in Japan over the phone!

We don't need to do any research, thank you very much. There isn't a crowd more knowledgeable about the EJ22T than this crowd right here. You want hard facts about the BC/BF Legacy, we are the crem de la crem.

And, seriously, you need to give a better introduction of yourself before going and posting ridiculous claims like you're posting. For all we know, you're just a big troll, because you haven't established any credibility with us.

GT8,

Tone down the posts, or you will be banned, end of story. This is your last and only warning.

For all we know, you're just a big troll, because you haven't established any credibility with us.
Yup. I back these dudes/gal(s) first. Sorry, it's kinda like a mafia.. we're open to new family members, but outlandish claims don't get you in. We back everything we say with either hard evidence, or the cred we've built since our conception on this forum.
We don't start fights here, and we resolve our disagreements accordingly, even if we still will never concur.
But we all have one commonality: Our Legacies. Our cars literally, are a rolling, living, breathing (intake) Legacy that we take pride in building, maintaining, and exhibiting.
Your claims are exciting, no doubt. We'd love to see a twin-turbo Legacy concept in the near future, as we're all huge fans of FHI and their myriad product lines.
So, I for one, offer you our apologies, and wish to welcome you to our board. We'll be glad to answer any questions/concerns you may have, and we're thankful that you are an owner of a rare car, and wish to preserve it for as long as possible. While the jury is still out on exactly how many turbos were made in that model year, we still realize that the numbers aren't up there that high.. So if you indeed don't mind paying the LD bills for calls to Japan, please continue to do so, and see if you can get us in writing some kind of official statement or count regarding our turbos, we'd love to hear it, and that will certainly build you some clout around here.
Best,
-=Tristan

Post by GT8 »

I will pay $1000.00 to the first person that proves me wrong on the numbers of 1991 2.2 Turbo 5-speed Sport sedans produced numbering what I said in my posts.

Yes......... Josh we all have to get along!

For anyone that wants the email of the person I personally have on this issue at FHI in Japan, I will give them his email address to talk to.......

Only the '91s had a rear LSD standard, so most of them would be more likely to spin two than three.

My friend's 91 SS 5MT here in Orlando.

Also, this car was originally black, which is supposedly super-rare

There used to be a black 91 5MT SS literally one mile down my street. And another 94 another mile down. When I had my SS that made 3 legacy turbos within a 2 mile radius! These cars are rare, but not THAT rare!

I guess the only thing we have to do now is make sure all these cars are US cars and not Canadian. I think we can pretty much get 15 at this point. Anyone counting?

I've got some info coming from the DMV here in WA.. I think i may have approximately 19 registered...

GT8, you really should get your checkbook out, cause you're gonna lose some money. ..unless you'd rather just apologize?
We'll even let you create your own thread, just for it, mmkay?

Oh, and if you do, you need to post it in pink text. And everytime you say 'sorry', change the text color to yellow. Cause we like to know things are sincere, and just from the heart.

If it doesn't meet this standard, I'm afraid it won't be acceptable.

We (or at least myself) don't really care about the money. Keep it, save it for a rainy day of self-improvement, or barring that, some more mood stabilizers.

I think it would be kinda cool that they only made 15 of the 91SS, as that would make it close to rarer than any other handmade car in the world, save, some that I don't know about.
You know, I took the info I've gleaned from this thread, though, and marched right up to my company president and boldly announced that my car was not only rarer than his Ferarri, but that he could also buy it for twice my yearly salary, right this very moment. --As is, even with the seat rips. Forget the Swedish Nanny, I think Jack might want to add that kind of boldness to his new Bold Chicken Sandwich.

I love it when I laugh so hard that I think I'm gonna pee.

True on both counts.

Anyone else notice we haven't heard from him for a few days? Maybe he got some bad news from FHI?
