Lol, today was the first time in a while that I washed it. Time for pics!

I went to the wash at a gas station (touchless) and then hosed off the soap they didn't. Came out OK. Wheels need work, but whatever.

wash?
Once when I bought it (march of this year), and again a couple of weeks ago. The only reason it was washed then was because a friend and I were going to make a short trip to Dallas and he didn't want to go in a dirty car. He even paid for the wash.

wash? What is this wash you speak of?

but seriously, touchless car washes suck. even the ones with the little spinny things aren't that great. Nothing beats a good old hand wash.

I still havent washed mine since the last Rallycross so I have about 50 lbs of dirt still stuck up inside the fenderwells. And since it is raining, the last rallycross is coming up on the 14th, I guess I will just wait until then.

The girls don't seem to mind the dirt, I get all sorts of offers for a date when cruising 82nd but for some reason they seem to need "taxi money" after our date? I just don't get it?!!?

I've been trying to wash my cars more often lately, but I really don't know why I do it.

With all the construction going on around here, one drive down my street and it's dirty inside the fenders, and one night of condensation combined with one day of them working and throwing up dust makes it dirty again in 1 day...

Summer time, I'll wash my car maybe once a week, sometimes once every two weeks. Winter time...I never wash it. :)

My GL-10 I think I've washed like 4 times in the 5 or 6 years I've owned it.

I used to live in Nashville Tennessee. On Nolensville Road there used to be a carwash, the sign said "hand job." I'm sure they meant that they wash your car by hand, but I always thought it was funny. I wonder if that place is still there.

Lately I've used a couple coin-op washes and a couple of touchless ones. Today I did a handwash in the driveway and it looks a lot better...not perfect but for a a 13 year old car with 175k miles it looks amazing from 10ft away.

Yeah, I'm with y'all.. nothing beats a hand job. I won't take my car to a car wash, but when i get around to washing it.. which is less often, considering the car hides dirt really well now. (not black)
But I have been meaning to wash it again, as of late, i just have to find time.. people capitalize my afternoons before i have time to think about what i wanna do!
I'll have to post pics after i wash it, then..

I proudly wear my streamlined mud streaks as a badge of honor. There are too many sissies around here with all these WRXs and such and rarely will I see one that's been taken off road. But I can't deny that after a good hand wash and wax she looks beautiful. If only I had more time, so in answer to the original question, my last wash was mid-summer.

In the winter I try to rinse the salt off at least once a week.

In the summer I wash my car about once a month, or maybe once every two but in the winter I spray it down at least once a week and daily if they're (penndot) putting down a lot of salt. Salt sucks.

Hahaha... We must just have very similar schedules. =)

They put so much salt down here that when the snow's clear the asphalt looks white. They have to do something with all the salt from the mines under Cayuga Lake.

That's how the roads here look, too. Though they use a lot of sand. Detroit was the worst I've seen for salt.
